Customizing Blogger Blog Template

Customizing a Blogger Blog Template may be hard sometimes for the new and non-expert blogger. But following this tutorial you will be able to Customize your blog very simply. I think you everybody should practice the customization of templates to be expert. Not only to be expert but also you need to do it to beautify your Blog's Look. In this tutorial I am going to show you how to customize a blog's margin or space. Look at my blog, I have taken this template from the listed templates of Google Blogger Site. But I have customized a lot in this template. There was a lots of gaps between the sidebar and the body. I have decreased them. There was also a huge gap between the header and the body. I have also customized that. Now I will show you how I have customized my blog. Just follow the steps given below to Customize Your Blog. But don't worry I will help you if you need me :) Just contact with me if you think so.

 Step 01 
At first you need to log in to your blogger account from here as you need to access the codes of your Blog's Template.

 Step 02 
Now click on Template from the left side menu bar. Then click on Edit HTML from the page. After clicking on Edit HTML a pop up window will open.

 Step 03 
In this step you need to click on Proceed now. Again click on Expand Widget Templates to expand the widget template. If you don't check the box where is written Expand Widget Templates then you won't be able to access the all of the codes.

 Step 04 
Now press Ctrl+F to open the Search Box. Then type  <Variable name="date.space" description="Date Space" type="length" default="33px"  value="33px"/> or any of the part of these codes in the search box and find out the line.

How to Access the HTML Codes of a Blogger Blog Template...!!!

 Step 05 
Change the value 33px to 5px and click on Preview to see see the result. Change the value as per as your demand. There are some more options to change the more spaces of another sections. You may change the values where is written 15px or something like this to change the spaces of other sections.
But remember the codes may be differ Template to Template. So you just need to change the codes randomly and then see the preview every time. When you will get your expected change then save the changes.

 Step 06 
If you think all is OK about your template after previewing that then you have to click on Save Template to save the Template. Never click on Save Template before previewing that. You may also download your template before customization if you are in fear.

However I think you are not so weak in this section as you are blogging and already in this sector. So please carry on and customize as you need.
