Adding CNAME records to add a custom domain in blogger blog

To add a custom domain in a blogger blog site, we need to add two CNAME records using the domain control panel. Even to host your website you need to add those CNAME records. The first CNAME record will be same in two cases. But the second CNAME will be unique for every website. Lets see how to add CNAME records using domain control panel.

Step 01  Log in to your domain's control panel
First of all you need to log in to your domain's control panel. After logging in, you will get the following page as shown in the image below.

Step 02  Go to the section Manage Free Services
Now we will use the section named Manage Free Services showing at the lowermost right corner of the above image. In this section we need to provide the domain name and need to select a service from the drop-down list as showing in the image below. I have selected Manage Records as I am going to add CNAME records. Now need to click on the next button.
cname records,NS records,a records,txt records

Step 03  Adding first CNAME record
After clicking on the next button, we will get several button for adding different type of records. Now we need to click on the button CNAME Records, then we will get another button called Add CNAME Record. Now we have to click on this button and after clicking, we will get the following page. Now we have to fill the text input boxes as shown in the image below and then need to click on the button Add Record.
cname record, blogger blog cname record, first cname record
Remember, this is the first CNAME record that will be same for a blogger blog or any other regular site. We need to add www as the Host Name and need to add ghs.google.com as the value.

Step 04  Adding the second CNAME record
After adding the first CNAME record, the button Add CNAME Record will be available again. So click on the button again to add the second CNAME. The second CNAME is unique and you will found it from your blogger blog account or from your host. The process is almost same with adding the first CNAME record. Again you need a host name and a value.

For example the host name may be rgf23unyf3h3 and the value gv-yfg3ffzmxxvvt24khv276kn7zvm43un3hthasudpgzdmoenxicvq.domainverify.googlehosted.com
