We create new folders when we need and rename them as we like. We sometimes change the name of My Computer or any of the drives of the Hard Disk. But have you ever tried to Change the name of your Recycle Bin? Probably, you haven't tried yet. Okay, try it now. Have you tried? Are you success? May be not. Because, it's a little bit of harder than renaming a file or folder. However, just follow the steps given below to rename the Recycle Bin. The steps are so easy to follow! But you have to follow the steps very carefully and attentively. Because, we will work with Registry Editor. And you all know that this is a so sensitive area of a computer system. Lets follow the steps one after another.
Step 01 Open Run Command Box by Windows Key+R
At first you need to open the RUN Command Box. To open RUN Command box press Windows Key+R together from the keyboard. You may also open RUN Command box from the Start Menu.
Step 02 Find Out CLSID Folder

Step 02 Find Out CLSID Folder
Hope you have got the RUN Command Box. Now type rededit as the RUN Command to open the Registry Editor and press Enter from the keyboard or click on OK. After pressing Enter, a new pop-up window will open named Registry Editor. Look at the Registry Editor carefully! There are five folders under My Computer in the left side bar. And there are five + sign also with every folder. Now click on the + sign of the first folder named HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. There you will found a lots of sub folders under this folder. Go to CLSID folder from the list.
Step 03 Find Out ShellFolder
There are also a lots of sub folders under CLSID Folder. Now find out the folder named {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}. The folder obviously there under the CLSID Folder. Just scroll down your mouse to find out. You may be frustrated for a lots of folders. There is a folder named ShellFolder under {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} folder.
Step 04 Right Click on Attribute
After clicking on ShellFolder, just look at the right side of the window. There you will get a file named Attributes. The type of this file is REG_BINARY. Now right click on the file, a new pop-up menu will open. Now click on Modify or Modify Binary Data.
Step 05 Change the Binary Value and Restart the Computer
Another pop-up window will open named Edit Binary Value. The value is given there 0000 40 01 00 20. Now change the value to 0000 70 01 00 20 and click on OK. Now close the Registry Editor and go to your Desktop. But don't try to rename the Recycle Bin. Yet the system is not ready to rename the recycle bin. You have to Restart your computer to rename your Recycle Bin. So Restart and Rename Your Recycle Bin.
