Configure Mozilla Firefox to Read Bangla (Bengali) Language Properly

Read Bangla News Clearly in Mozilla Firefox

Make the Bangla Text more Clear and Perfect in Mozilla Firefox


Though there are a lots of Internet Browsers but Firefox is very common to most of the users. A lots of people in Bangladesh use Firefox as their default browser. On the other hand Bangla is the Primary Language in Bangladesh. A notable part of Indians are also speak in Bangla. There are about 250 million people in total who speaks in Bangla. So Bangla Language has a great value in the world of Internet. There are a lots of websites fully in Bangla Language. Some online newspapers also publish Bangla News in Bengali Language. But in Firefox you may fail to read them clearly. So you have to configure Firefox for Bangla so that you can read them well. Configuring Firefox for Bangla Language is not so tough. Lets see how to configure Firefox for Bangla.

 Step 01  Manage Siyam Rupali and/or SolaimanLipi Bangla font
There should have installed Siyam Rupali and/or SolaimanLipi bangla font in your Computer. Download the bangla font SolaimanLipi from here. You may also try Siyam Rupali if it is installed in your Computer. Remember, if there is installed Avro Keyboard bangla typing software, then you needn't to think about the font.

 Step 02  Install the SolaimanLipi font now
If there is not installed Avro Keyboard then install the Bangla Font SolaimanLipi in the Computer System. If you are a user of Windows 7 or 8, then right click on the font and click on Install to install it as shown in the image below. You may also keep the font to the directory My Computer>Local Disc (C:)>WINDOWS>Fonts.

 Step 03  Change the Settings
Now click on the settings button from the uppermost right corner as shown in the image below. After clicking a drop-down menu will open. Now click on Options from the menu.

 Step 04  Find Out Fonts & Colors Section
After clicking on Option a pop-up window will open as like as the image below. Now go to Content Tab and click on Advanced... button from the Fonts & Colors section.

 Step 05  Select SolaimanLipi or Siyam Rupali Font
Then another new window will open as like as the image below. Now change the settings as shown in the image and click on the OK button.
