We will learn to write/burn a CD/DVD without using any third party software. It's possible in Windows 7 and in Windows 8. From this post you will learn to burn a disk using Windows 7 Operating System. The steps to burn a disk are given below.
Step 01 Insert a Blank Disc and Wait a While
At first we have to insert a Blank Disc into the DVD/CD Writer. After a few moments, a pop-up window will open formally called AutoPlay. Now need to click on the writings Burn files to disc. Then another window will open named Burn to Disc. Now provide the expected Disc Title. But you may also avoid it. Now click on the Next Button.
Step 02 Drag the Files to Burn
After clicking on the Next Button, another new window will open. Now drag the files you want to burn. After dragging the files, click on Burn to disc.
Step 03 Select an Option of Burning
Now a new window will open named Burn to Disc. Then you will found two options...
1. Make an audio CD (for standard audio CD players).
2. Make a data CD (for computers and some CD players).
Choose one of the above and click on the Next Button.
Step 04 Define a Burning Speed and Start to Burn
After clicking on the Next Button, another new window will open. Now drag the files you want to burn. After dragging the files, click on Burn to disc.
Step 03 Select an Option of Burning
Now a new window will open named Burn to Disc. Then you will found two options...
1. Make an audio CD (for standard audio CD players).
2. Make a data CD (for computers and some CD players).
Choose one of the above and click on the Next Button.
Step 04 Define a Burning Speed and Start to Burn
You have to select the Burn Speed now. Burn speed is selected 16X by default. Select your expected burn speed and click on the Next Button again. Finally click on the button Start Burn.
